For facilities
Fill shifts with verified contractors
Skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and clinics in Michigan can post 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts for CNA, LPN, and RN contractors. Prepay the shift, a verified contractor claims and clocks in, and they get paid instantly on clock-out.
Post a shift
Pick the role, start time, and duration (4h, 8h, or 12h). Add notes so the contractor arrives prepared.
Prepay & go live
Pay the shift total up front — the shift is instantly visible to verified contractors nearby.
4 / 8 / 12-hour coverage
Single block or full shift. Minimums start at $35/hr CNA, $50 LPN, $75 RN — post above the floor to attract claims fast.
Shifts posted inside the platform's surge window get an automatic per-hour bonus (currently up to $5/hr) so nearby contractors see it first and claim faster.
Any shift performed during a recognized U.S. federal holiday is paid at 1.5× the posted hourly rate — added on top of the role minimum before surge.
If a facility cancels a claimed shift less than 1 hour before start, the contractor is instantly paid 4 hours at the posted rate from the facility's prepayment.
Active Michigan license, BLS, background check, fingerprints, TB screening, HIPAA & elder-abuse training — all checked before a shift can be claimed.
Contract with Kindred
Contractor types we onboard
All roles are 1099 independent contractors. Nursing roles require an active Michigan license and BLS; IV nurses need IV certification. Contractors provide their own equipment and supplies — Kindred does not.
Minutes, not days
Post a trip and a nearby contractor can accept in minutes.
Instant contractor payout
Contractors earn 85% per trip, released the moment they clock out.
Licensed & verified
Nursing roles are credential-checked; all providers are background-screened 1099 contractors.
